Responsibilities

• Load and unload all forms of transport safely and efficiently.
• Redistribute inventory within the warehouse as required.
• Pick customer and warehouse orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with stacking and unstacking storage bins.
• Build stable and interlocking stacks during loading and de-stacking operations.
• Guide other workers to ensure proper stacking procedures are followed.
• Secure tarpaulins on open-body trucks to protect sugar from water and dust.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations and efficiency.
• Maintain safety standards by using PPE and following safe working practices.
• Prevent product damage during loading, stacking, and transportation.
• Perform warehouse cleaning and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
• Keep workstations and staff areas clean and orderly.
• Follow company procedures, including SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) policies.

Qualifications Required

• Matric or equivalent secondary school leaving qualification.
• Good communication skills.
• Good physical fitness with the strength and endurance to perform manual work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work across different warehouse areas and operational tasks.
