The successful candidate will manage the entire customer journey—from identifying potential clients and closing sales to onboarding businesses and ensuring they actively use the FikaShop platform.

About FikaShop

FikaShop is a digital business platform designed to help restaurants, cafés, shops, and other small businesses manage orders, inventory, menus, invoices, and customer records. The platform enables business owners to streamline their daily operations while growing their online presence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach restaurants, shops, cafés, and other local businesses.
• Conduct daily cold calls and schedule product demonstrations.
• Visit businesses to pitch and demonstrate the FikaShop platform.
• Send personalized WhatsApp and social media messages to prospective clients.
• Follow up with leads until they make a clear decision.
• Onboard new customers and assist with account setup.
• Train customers on orders, inventory, menus, invoices, and website features.
• Respond to customer inquiries and escalate technical issues when necessary.
• Monitor customer activity and encourage continued platform usage.
• Prepare weekly sales and customer feedback reports.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, calls, visits, and onboarding activities.

Qualifications Required

• Experience in sales, customer service, field marketing, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Strong cold calling and face-to-face communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Swahili and English.
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications.
• Ability to train non-technical business owners on digital products.
• Self-motivated, organized, and disciplined in reporting.
• Willingness to travel for field visits.
• Experience selling to SMEs or onboarding customers to digital products is an added advantage.
