Responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate program budget preparations, reviews, and timely submissions.
• Ensure expenditure is aligned with approved budgets, activities, World Vision policies, and donor requirements.
• Assess financial capacity-building needs among field staff, partners, and sub-grantees.
• Develop and implement financial capacity-building plans.
• Conduct financial training and capacity-building activities for field staff and partners.
• Coordinate preparation and review of program-level financial reports.
• Ensure financial reports are submitted accurately and on time.
• Conduct monthly FFT reviews to verify reporting accuracy.
• Prepare monthly project financial analysis reports for program and project management.
• Ensure compliance with the LDR Policy.
• Monitor cash management and maintain appropriate cash balances within programs.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
• Ensure payments are processed on time and comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate program-level audit activities.
• Prepare timely responses to audit observations and recommendations.
• Develop action plans for addressing audit findings and share them with the National Office.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations within programs.
• Participate in partner assessments before engagement and fund transfers.
• Assess partner financial systems and capacity.
• Conduct partner monitoring visits and provide financial capacity-building support.
• Monitor timely funding and retirement of partner advances.
• Provide technical support on fleet management and promote operational efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare monthly fleet analysis covering maintenance and fuel costs.
• Prepare fleet reports for submission to the National Office.
• Facilitate program-level procurement while ensuring compliance with World Vision policies and procedures.
• Review monthly staff payroll and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct performance appraisals for staff at cluster level.
• Manage program balance sheet items, including staff advances, in accordance with World Vision policies.
• Review staff EERs for accuracy and validity of supporting receipts.
• Ensure the Fixed Assets Register is maintained and updated on time.
• Reconcile inventories and ensure accurate asset records.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• MBA, ACCA, or CPA qualification is preferred.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and SunSystems software.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and provide financial guidance.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Tact and diplomacy when handling staff and workplace-related matters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at different organizational levels.
