Responsibilities
- Participate in daily activities related to the assigned position to gain practical work experience.
- Support the provision of national postal services across the United Republic of Tanzania.
- Assist activities aimed at meeting industrial, commercial, social, and household needs through efficient postal services.
- Support money remittance services, including money orders, postal orders, and related services.
- Assist with counter services for Tanzania Posts Corporation and compatible government business.
- Participate in tasks and projects designed to develop professional skills and practical work experience.
- Support activities related to payment operations, remittances, mobile money, settlement, and reconciliation where required.
- Contribute to assignments undertaken as part of the one-year volunteering programme.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, ICT, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in payment operations, remittances, mobile money, settlement, or reconciliation.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) and transaction controls will be an added advantage.
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing a postal address, email address, and telephone contacts.
- Certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
- Certified academic transcripts and birth certificate.
- Two guarantors who are Public Servants.
- Introduction letter from the Village or Street Executive Officer or the relevant Local Government Authority.
- Copy of a National Identification Card (NIDA).
- Good conduct and acceptable moral character within the community.
- Must not have been previously employed by any Public Institution since graduation.
- Must be willing to volunteer for one year to gain skills and practical work experience.
- Applicants whose position requires a specific GPA should attach a GPA Calculation Certificate issued by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
