About the Photovoltaic / Renewable Energy Programme Internship

The internship provides recent graduates with an opportunity to gain practical knowledge and professional exposure in solar energy technology. In addition, interns will work and learn in a multicultural environment alongside trainers and other participants.

Responsibilities

Successful interns will be expected to:

• Gain practical training and international exposure in Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Energy Systems.
• Learn about the design, installation, operation and maintenance of PV Solar Energy Systems.
• Attend and successfully complete the full three-month training programme at a partner college in China.
• Participate actively in training activities throughout the programme.
• Work effectively with trainers and fellow interns in a multicultural learning environment.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop professionally throughout the internship.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants for the Photovoltaic / Renewable Energy Programme Internship should meet the following requirements:

• Be a recent graduate who completed studies within the last two years.
• Be a Tanzanian national.
• Be aged 28 years or below.
• Have a strong interest in renewable energy and solar technology.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• Have good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Have good communication skills in English.
• Be adaptable and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
• Be available for the entire three-month training period from 10 October 2026 to 10 January 2027.
