Responsibilities

Marketing Officer II - Sales volunteers will be expected to:

• Participate in daily activities related to the assigned position to gain practical workplace experience.
• Support activities involved in providing postal services across Tanzania.
• Assist in activities aimed at meeting the industrial, commercial, social, and household needs of customers through postal services.
• Support money remittance services, including money orders and postal orders, where required.
• Assist with counter services for TPC's own operations and government-related business.
• Participate in assignments and projects designed to develop professional skills and practical work experience.
• Carry out other relevant duties that support the objectives of the one-year volunteering programme.

Qualifications Required

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, or Business Administration majoring in Marketing or Entrepreneurship from a recognized university or institution.
• Provide an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae containing reliable postal, email, and telephone contacts.
• Submit certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
• Provide certified copies of academic transcripts and birth certificate.
• Provide details of two guarantors who are Public Servants.
• Obtain an introduction letter from the relevant Village or Street Executive Officer or Local Government Authority.
• Provide a copy of the National Identification Card (NIDA).
• Demonstrate good conduct and acceptable moral character within the community.
• Have not previously been employed by a Public Institution since graduation.
• Be willing to volunteer for one year to develop professional skills and gain work experience.
• Provide a GPA Calculation Certificate issued by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) where a specific GPA requirement applies.
