Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is offering three opportunities for qualified applicants to serve as ICT Officer II - Network Administration under its one-year volunteering programme. Responsibilities

The ICT Officer II - Network Administration will be expected to:

• Participate in daily activities related to the assigned role to gain practical work experience.
• Support activities involved in the provision of postal services across Tanzania.
• Contribute to activities aimed at meeting industrial, commercial, social, and household needs through comprehensive postal services.
• Assist with money remittance services, including money orders and postal orders, when required.
• Support counter services for TPC's own business and government-related activities in line with the Corporation's objectives.
• Participate in tasks and projects that facilitate network administration and professional skills development.
• Engage in activities designed to provide practical work experience throughout the one-year volunteering programme.

Qualifications Required

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems and Network Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information and Communication Systems Management, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Provide an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae with reliable postal address, email address, and telephone contacts.
• Submit certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
• Provide certified copies of academic transcripts and birth certificate.
• Provide two guarantors who are Public Servants.
• Submit an introduction letter from the relevant Village or Street Executive Officer or Local Government Authority.
• Provide a copy of the National Identification Card (NIDA).
• Demonstrate good conduct and acceptable moral character within the community.
• Have not previously been employed by a Public Institution since graduation.
• Be willing to volunteer for one year for skills development and practical work experience.
• Attach a GPA Calculation Certificate issued by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) where a specific GPA requirement applies.
